Hope Solo's Fiancee Arrested on Suspicion of Assaulting Her on Wedding Eve.

The fiance of soccer star Hope Solo was arrested on the eve of their planned wedding earlier this week on suspicion of assaulting her, according to a police report. Instead of exchanging vows, former Seattle Seahawks football player Jerramy Stevens, 33, appeared in municipal court in Kirkland, Wash., on Tuesday. Solo, 31, was seen leaving the courtroom.

Stevens had been taken into custody on investigation on fourth degree assault, but was released without condition. Solo's attorney and agent did not immediately respond to a request for comment. No one picked up at a phone number listed for Stevens.

A police report described a blood splattered home with several people injured and Solo refusing to cooperate with the police and urging her brother to stop talking to the officers. The scene unfolded early Monday morning when Marcus Solo, the soccer Olympian's brother, called 911 to report a fight at a home, Kirkland Police told ABC News.

When officers arrived at the home, Marcus had blood on his forehead and a bruise under his eye, according to a police report. The report stated that Hope had blood on her elbow from a cut, however she refused to tell officers how she was hurt. According to the report, the Solo siblings gave police different stories about how the fight began and Hope yelled, "Don't say anything to them Marcus" several times while he was being questioned by police.


While searching the house, officers found a 32-year-old woman suffering from a hip injury and blood on the floor and staircase handrail, police said. Stevens was found upstairs between a wall and bed. He insisted to officers he was sleeping and not hiding, the report stated. He had dried blood on his shirt and cheek.
The ex-football player then admitted to officers that he had been arguing with his fiancée and was taken into custody on investigation on fourth degree assault, according to the police report.

It's not the first time Stevens has been in trouble with the law. He was most recently arrested in 2010 for possession of marijuana while playing for Tampa Bay and has previous arrests for reckless driving and a hit-and-run. In 2000, he was accused of sexual assault but was not charged.

Solo is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who helped lead the U.S. women's soccer team to victory at the 2008 Beijing games and most recently, in London last summer.
