Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant: 'Incredibly happy but nervous' Royals forced to announce first child as Wills drives Kate to hospital with acute morning sickness (and the Queen didn't know).

Prince William drove wife Kate to hospital today after she fell ill with acute morning sickness in the early stages of her pregnancy. The Duchess, 30, is at the King Edward II Hospital in Central London and expected to stay in for several days after falling ill at her parents' home in Berkshire at the weekend. The couple, who married 18 months ago, were forced to reveal the happy news early as Kate is not yet 12 weeks pregnant. The Duchess (centre at the Natural History Museum last Tuesday and right, at her old prep school on Friday) will need rest, according to a Palace statement issued this afternoon. The couple (in Cambridge last week, left), said that they were 'delighted with the news'.

This is the devastating aftermath of a horror crash between two black BMWs on the M1 that claimed two lives and sparked a fight in the early hours of this morning. Emergency services battled to clear the wreckage, described as 'looking like a plane crash', as police appealed for information about the tragedy between junctions 4 and 5 near Watford, Hertfordshire. Witnesses claimed the two cars crashed at speeds of up to 140mph before some of the survivors began brawling over who was to blame.

Naomi Hampson (pictured), 27, from Nottingham, who waived her anonymity to speak out, only discovered she had regularly fallen victim to sick Robert Fryer when police raided the couple's home. The twisted pervert would even paint her nails and dress her in jewellery before taking photographs of his revolting acts.

The kudu tried to launch the lion through the air after putting in an almighty buck - but sadly it was not enough

When the young lioness finally caught up with the panicking bull, he clearly wasn't about to give up without a fight - and tried to launch the lion through the air after putting in an almighty buck. The plucky beast became the lion's prime target for dinner, after it ran directly into a hungry pride at the MalaMala game reserve, in South Africa.
