OMG!!! FIRST HUMAN-HEAD TRANSPLANT IN THE WORLD SET TO BEGIN

Head off in an accident? Hope seems near. Brilliant Italian neuroscientist, Dr. Sergio Canavero is set to surprise the world as he takes on the task of performing the first human head transplant in the world. He announced that this huge procedure will happen in December 2017 and has recruited a head surgeon to lead this historical process. Crazy enough, a 30-year-old man from Russia, Valery Spiridonov, has volunteered to be used as a human guinea pig, hoping the operation will improve the quality of his life. Like most surgeries, this procedure has great risk and uncertainty.Scientists are wondering if the head will reject this new body or worse, will the professionals be able to reconnect Spiridonov’s spinal cord? While the advance medicine treatments reduce the risk of rejection, this surgery is not a sure success as no expert has ever successfully reconnected a spinal cord. Goodluck to them.
