Aggrieved members of the APC in Ondo are set to part ways with the party following disaffection with the free and fair emergence of Rotimi Akeredolu in the recently concluded primary election.
The All Progressives Congress in Ondo State has been divided since the result of the keenly-contested primary election that produced Rotimi Akeredolu was announced.A report on Punch has it that some gubernatorial aspirants who have raised suspicions about the credibility of the electoral process that ushered in a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association are set to defect to opposing parties to pursue their political ambitions.Investigations revealed that some of the aggrieved aspirants had been discussing with some less-popular parties in the state to get automatic ticket of becoming their governorship candidates for the forthcoming election. Recall, barely two days after conceding defeat, Segun Abraham has also rejected the results from the just concluded APC Ondo Guber Primaries.
